BILT event: Show Tell and Talk: ‘Assessing with and without AI’ curriculum design workshop

AI is developing at pace, and the education sector faces a choice of how to engage with it. A full understanding of the risks and opportunities for teaching, learning and assessment – from the perspective of both teachers and learners – is essential for developing practice and for policy making that will maintain fairness without ignoring this important area of technological advancement.

This curriculum design workshop will explore:

– potential uses of AI in teaching and learning
– how to evaluate different approaches to mitigating the impact of AI on assessment
– creating an AI-resilient or AI-incorporated assessment for your programme
– and provide space for you to reflect and develop your learning and teaching practices and consider how to implementation best practice in your work.

This 90 minute in-person workshop will take place in Room 3.32, Wills Memorial Building, Queens Road 

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available from 1.15 pm.
