BILT Event: Show, Tell and Talk: Designing for all – Group assessment

Group assessment, including projects, dissertations and presentations, is important to developing team skills and working with large number of students, but is often problematic in terms of inclusivity and student preferences (including international student preferences).

This session will explore and discuss ways to embed group assessments including projects and dissertations.

This 90 minute in-person workshop takes place in Room 1.20, Helen Wodehouse Building, 35 Berkeley Square and will give a brief overview of our BILT-funded research projects which are focused on on producing guidance outlining how best to implement group assessment.

  • Charlotte Verney – Head of Assessment
  • Alvin Birdi – Associate PVC – Education Innovation and Enhancement

The session includes a presentation, group discussion, and will end with a chance to mingle with fellow attendees over tea and biscuits.
